Great service and food.

The food is good, the ice cream desserts are great. Sometimes the wait for food is Loooong, but no worries, they have mini golf and an arcade. Great for families.

Great food, very friendly staff, I'd recommend to make a reservation if planning to go on the weekend.

Mussels app was amazing as well as the burger I ate for lunch. Atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is friendly and kind. Love this place.

Enough said! I wanted to take a ride in my classic British car. Asked my husband to find a place he would like as long as it had a drive along the Delaware River. He found this, Inn of the Hawk.We split several item as a general rule This place did not disappoint.

Vegan Menu??I called to ask if there is a vegan menu as it is not listed on the website with their other menu. Despite having a website they don’t have an email address Or a Contacts Us page. I find this odd in 2020. It was confirmed they have a separate vegan menu but the only way to see it is to go to the restaurant. I’m not driving to look at a menu much less driving 2 hours R/T. Especially when it may not be a vegan menu (just salads and standard menu items deconstructed).It’s very disappointing. There are too few establishments that offer “vegan“ foods even though the number of us seeking either cruelty free options or Nutrient dense options is growing daily. I do see some restaurants catching on, but keeping your menu hidden only brings about more questions. Whether I actually try out this restaurant with my group is yet to be seen. The two stars given are for the lady who answered the phone since she was pleasant. I will certainly update this review if I go there.

Since Lambertville was on our way home Gail wanted to stop at a little restaurant we have seen on past trips. She dropped me off out front and we liked the way the decorated it so I took this picture, inside was nicely decorated and the fireplace was working nicely. They still had their lunch menu out at 2:00 and we ordered from it. If the other items on the menu taste as good as what we had this time, we’ll be back

Warm and cozy bar, good burger, nicely salty homemade chips, and an amazing espresso-chocolate ice cream concoction.

Wow! What a wonderful find!!! I am new to the area and wanted to show my BFF my new home and have lunch. The food and service was so good, I returned a few weeks later with my sister and mother. They loved it too. If you want a great meal and excellent service then you can’t go wrong at Inn of the Hawke!

When you’re in Lambertville, this is the place to eat. The atmosphere is lovely and homey, the staff is delightful and the food is delicious and plentiful. The fish and chips were to die for. And don’t skip their beautiful desserts.

Interesting and wide-ranging menu, customer-focused approach. Our party of 10 enjoyed every dish. Al-fresco dining was lovely!

I have been a patron of this pub/eatery since they opened in 1993 and it's never steered me wrong. The food, drink, staff, vibe and service are always impeccable!

Great on Monday and any other day of the week! Servers are very nice food is excellent; you can bring your kids and not feel embarrassed. There is something on the menu for everyone's taste meat eaters and non meat eats alike!Also the bar is really great especially if you are into craft beer.

Really friendly team, making the best out of a very tough situation. Good sanitary practices. Especially happy with the visible sanitization of the salt and pepper shakers. Delicious food with lots of variety. We enjoyed the crispy pork tacos (4 out of 5) and hanger steak (5 out of 5) which was a true cut. Diverse drink menu with fun cocktails and beer selections.

Great food friendly service. I went at a hectic time and while you could tell the staff was scrambling a bit to keep up. Even so they had no problem talking and joking with me while I threw a curve ball into my order. Plus beer to go! What what

Food is consistently great, the chips to die for and my husband loves the Hawke burger.

Service was great, the food was delicious, and some of the selections available were different from the last time someone in my party visited. The food is mostly German based, but also included a butternut squash hummus which was outstanding.

Great atmosphere with real wood fireplace, great food, friendly staff. They take reservations and we didn't need to wait for a table for Sunday lunch.

Love this place! Great staff & delicious burgers and sandwiches. Great frequently changing selection of beers on tap. Yummy cocktails & wines as well! Plenty of outdoor seating and even some off-street parking! Very close to the canal so you can walk off the (delicious) calories after!

Consistently good food served is an enclosed garden.

Quaint little place. Mostly an older crowd at the time we were there. The drinks were ok. The long island was not so good, but my husband said his old fashioned was decent. We ate the mussels and poutine fries for appetizers. They were both very good. I would have preferred a little more gravy on my fries, but that could have been solved easily by asking for more. The mussels were delicious! The creamy sauce was a nice change from the typical tomato base sauce that you get at a lot of places, and you get a good amount of mussels. For dinner, my husband chose the Korean fried chicken sandwich, which he said was delicious. I had the burger with mushrooms, onions and provolone. Burgers are one of my favorites and they definitely did a great job with this one. The meat was good and cooked perfectly. I do wish they would have had a good aioli or sauce for the burger since I am not a fan of ketchup. We sat at the bar and the service was great! We will definitely be going back!

attended a small outdoor wedding here today!! very nice place. the indoor dining area was very quaint and fancy for the small reception. the atlantic salmon dish was excellent!!! clean bathrooms. friendly staff. note this... this place was booked last minute because the other establishment closed to the public yesterday due to codiv19. big hand clap for inn of the hawke. the bride was so happy

The place is first-rate and roomy, the meals was yummy and the prices were very inexpensive. fast, effective service and very personal waiters. Recommended.

Overall OK. Food was good but service was way too fast which prevented this from being a 4 star rating. No reason to bring entrees when appetizers were only half eaten. Atmosphere is good and bar, which we stopped at for a glass of wine after dinner, was very nice. Crowded on a Friday evening but that's to be expected in Lambertville.

Yummy pub comfort food. Definitely try the dry rub wings, mac and cheese, and fish and chips. People love the Hawke burger. I'm not a burger person, but sensibly they have also have a turkey option. Has a great beer selection. Taps frequently rotate craft beer and of course have seasonal offerings.

Went here for the first time tonight and had an ok meal but the service and atmosphere was great! Food could have used more seasoning, was a bit bland and I have a very mild palette. Would have loved if dishes were made to order too so I could exclude one element of the dish. I was also surprised that there wasn’t any bread brought to the table but every restaurant is different so that wasn’t a big deal. Couscous was a more mushy than I would have liked as well. Our waiter was great and we really enjoyed sitting in the back courtyard! Beautiful trees and lighting.
